Most good men were born in Arkansas.

Not according to your Gump friend and the quoted portion of post 18.
You can't have it your way if you Gumps can't even agree with the "methodology of NC claims" within your own fanbase.

no doubt. never said he wasnt. even did a report on him in 6th grade on the junction boys...loved the book. he knew what it took to win, but he also hated auburn, and ill show the same hate toward him.

We can take a joke, and I joke with auburn fans all the time on here. But this is a thread to honor BB, and for you to come in here to flame just screams 'douchebag'. That's all I'm saying. It's not a big deal, just stating facts man.

Seriously? Or are you just trying to take a shot at Alabama with the claims?

He is trying to take a shot at Alabama because he wrongly believes that Alabama claims a Title for every year someone named us National Champions

Question for Auburn fans:
Does the Auburn Creed say anything about rolling Tumor's Corner upon the news of a rival coach's death like what happened when Bryant died? Is that part of family atmosphere you guys are always bragging about? Just curious.

Auburn's the one that can't get rid of their coaches.

Type in Patrick F. Dye and see what comes up.
How many colleges keep the head coach that got the school on probation employed? How many years; 1992 - 18 years??
quote:
Dye's tenure on the plains ended when Auburn was penalized for payments by boosters and assistant coaches to a player, Eric Ramsey. Tape recordings were released that implicated a booster named "Corky" Frost, and present Troy University head coach Larry Blakeney. The controversy landed the Auburn program a spot on 60 Minutes and an eventual NCAA investigation. While the investigation did not find Dye personally responsible for rules violations, the NCAA determined that as head coach and athletic director, Dye should have known about and stopped the payments to Ramsey.[2] The fallout from the NCAA probation against the football team pushed Dye out as athletic director in 1991 and as head coach the following year.
