My Dad's favorite player for his Detroit Tigers. From the stories I heard over the years, Kaline sounded like Jake Mangum to me. Good hitter, played hard and a class act on & off the field.

Chemistry and battery jokes aside, this guy was a class act on and off the field. Peace to his family and the Tigers organization.
