Goodbye, hard life don't cry
Would you let it ride
Goodbye, hard life don't cry
Would you let it ride
You can't see the mornin'
But I can see the light
Ride, ride, ride let it ride

I think Auburn should just sign Cadillac as the full time coach. He is an Auburn guy and should be able to recruit.

Lol bammer

Of course, you don't want Auburn to hire someone like Kiffin, Freeze, or Sanders...

his is a good point. AL relies more on large quantities of sidewalk and trailer park fans buying shirts, along with lawyer types donating smaller sums of money.

They don't have the deep pockets of some other CFB programs. Never considered that.

Saban had to beg for NIL money this year. He knows they will not be able to keep up, especially after he leaves. If he loses one more game, I think he will start giving the end some thought.

I’d love to see Cadillac be successful. I think he was a fantastic player and a great guy. If he won out, they’d have a very difficult time telling him that he was being replaced by Rhett Lashlee if he knocked off Saban (but that isn’t likely with the squad they have been trotting out there each week).

I'm just going to sit back and watch Auburn have coach after coach pass them up while Auburn fans have a tough time figuring out why.

Truth, The Aub BOT has burned their own bridges, most coaches will steer clear of this place.

For what it’s worth, I have heard that Cadillac has until now had no desire, none, zilch to be a head coach. If lightning strikes and crazy things happen the rest of the way could that change? Who knows?

As soon as Saban leaves the state of Alabama is up for grabs.
Placing Bama and the barn anywhere close to even is beyond delusional.

Everyone thinks it is NIL that will bring Alabama back down. But before Saban, Alabama football had a 30 year period where they only won 1 national championship. That was before NIL was a thing.

Nah, Auburn is about to unleash a PR blast and air all the dirty laundry from the Harsin investigation. They have to the change perception in order to be viewed in a more positive light. The perception of Auburn Athletics and their Administration needs a serious face lift. The plastic surgeons (beat writers) are prepping and framing the narrative right now.

In honor of Halloween a new podcast has been released, "The Horrors of Harsin's Recruiting".

Get ready for a barrage of negative news about xCBH, the beat writers have been given their marching orders.

For the first time in a long time, maybe ever, Auburn has the money people and the President on the same page. Auburn has numerous money people that can compete at any school and finally a President that understands the importance of college athletics for the schools PR program and loves the big sports on campus. You are seeing the results, firing the AD in August and then going after the AD he wants and firing Harsin the same day.

Bama is old school without money to put behind them in the future. They have all their eggs in Saban's basket and will not be able to keep up long-term once he retires. They will not be able to keep up with the NIL of some of the richer programs. Again, doctors and lawyers are not making enough money to keep up with the Tech grads.

I think you have watched the movie "The secret" too many times. Simply saying things over and over is not going to make them true and it's not going to make it happen.

The fact of the matter is Auburn is a school that fired it's last coach in less than 2 years after completely pulling the rug out from under him in less than 1 year on the job.

Your school and your boosters do not support the coach or give them a fair chance, it's public knowledge. Trying to blame Harsin for it as many of your fans have, only makes it worse.

It's a terrible job and the only type of coach Auburn is going to be able to hire is a coach who doesn't care about advancing their career, just getting a paycheck and a large buyout soon after.

Maybe you'll get lucky and hire a guy like Mike Leach, but most likely you're going to end up with some coordinator who might not otherwise get the opportunity to be HC, or someone like I described above. Freeze is probably your ceiling and that's likely not going to happen either.
