Sheridan wants to clear his name.. i would too. not saying he isn't a shameless self-promoter, but i would be too if i were in his shoes. nothing wrong with that. but yesterday's agenda was to clear his name.

there's one major element to this story.... the alleged bagman may not even a real bagman. the guy may not even be a damn witness... Sheridan is ONLY CLAIMING that he was told -A- name.... he can't speak to its validity concerning the story with the Newtons.

his mistake was when he let his ego boast that he could get the name if he wanted it. then he screwed up by saying he MAY tell us the name on the air... but he clearly said he may not say it, too.

I don't think he was referring to 1 source for 20-25 years, but having sources in the ncaa for 20-25 years.
