Oh, and the thread title still sucks and is incredibly misleading.

It may be standard to send plays into the sec office but it's certainly not standard to talk about which plays you're sending in to the media.

He should send the the replay of Gurley head butting and swinging at SC players and ask why they don't review personal foul penalties like that, which can get players ejected, the same as targeting.

I'm sure USCe sent that in if they feel that way

Dude. He had the entire roster of the Gamecocks surrounding him jaw jacking in his face throughout the entire game. What would any human 19 year old young man with testosterone flowing through their veins do? Turn to each player and say- "Why yes, I see your point and you may now borrow my grey poupon."

Should he have been flagged for it? Absolutely.

At worst I could have seen offsetting Personal fouls so that each team got warned about the taunting. But we are talking about SEC officials here. Not exactly know as the best in the world.

I wonder if Richt will inquire as to why Gurley was not ejected for the head butt and punch thrown while he's at it with the refs?

Believe it or not, some people are able to make rational decisions and use their heads in times of stress.

^^^Obviously never played football at the collegiate level.

ETA: Also, is that what the point of Sandstorm is while Carolina has home games? Getting the guys to keep their heads in times of stress and helping them make rational decisions?

It's an emotional game man. It goes both ways.

Just incredibly soft. The UF fans didn't bitch hardly at all when Gurley actually threw a punch against them

I would love for them to talk about who our WR could possibly be trying to block while trying to tackle the guy who had INTd the ball.

Horrible call. He didn't even make contact...but Richt gave y'all a reprieve by not giving it to Gurley

Georgia's idiot fan base has spent years crying about Nick Fairley when your piece of shite offensive line tried to chop block him in the first place. Your excuses to defend Gurley's thug arse and #88's thug arse are laughable

I thought this thread was about UGA asking them to suspend Gurley for fighting so it doesn't appear like Richt is doing it...he is skeered of Gurley and fanbase.

Or the illegal blocking that got called on our WR on a UGA INT return? I would love for them to talk about who our WR could possibly be trying to block while trying to tackle the guy who had INTd the ball.

You can't cut a lead blocker unless he is within the box at the start of the play (with some other stipulations). Guess they just call it illegal blocking since it is the same call and penalty enforcement as when an offensive player does it illegally. But it definitely is an actual rule. Just rarely see it called. Much more strictly enforced in HS football.
