About as many times as we heard you guys say that Arik Gilbert was happy at Georgia.
All kidding aside, I don't think Richardson is as good as we are making him out to be nor do I think Emory is as bad. This was his first start, so I am going to wait and see.

I mean I think just has more to do with the fact that anybody with eyes can see AR15 is an athletic freak. 6ft4 240 lb QBs aren’t supposed to hurdle and outrun DBs.

Emory had three terrible plays in 50 snaps. He could in fact play better next week and Ar15 worse and further complicate our never ending Uf love fest for the back up qb.

To be fair if Spurrier never benches Dean for Wuerffel, I’m not sure if UF eventually wins that title in 96

No. He had way more than three. He even struggled with hand offs in the read and it’s why it was oddly delayed. Now watch the option with Richardson. It’s quick. After the 74 yard run Mullen was on the sideline with both of them emphasizing that to Jones. Jones I was behind all off-season. I saw a confused guy out there that was completely overwhelmed and lost. Looked down receivers, struggled reading the option, struggled with accuracy, and made quite a few really bad decisions you can’t make in your fourth year. That fourth and goal was just insane and can’t happen. I like Jones as a person he is a great kid, but he looks lost like Franks did. Richardson at least looked confident in his decisions which is a massive part in being a QB. Emory was scared. Now. If he comes out next week and it was first game jitters, great. But Richardson looked clearly better week 1.
