Probably old news, but the first time I've heard it.

I don't think he was seriously considered as a QB by many teams not named Baylor.

I don't think LSU is hurting too much by missing out on him.

Yeah, that'd be nice. Because LSU never wins as an underdog. Especially on the opponents home field...

I think I'd rather have a championship over a heisman.

I think you mean by coaches not named Bryles, who has shown he can find them...RGIII/Keenum.

So did Darren Thomas and Denard Robinson... they were both scared of JJ.
If they only knew!

You don't think RGIII could lead LSU to a championship?

He would have not been a Heisman contender had he went to LSU...

He wouldn't play for championships if he went to Arky

I think he would have been a great QB to have, but he wouldn't have been as successful in LSU's system. Baylor had the perfect offense set up for him.

Multiple championships. QB is their only real weak spot.

I'm almost positive LSU told him he could come to LSU as an athlete/wideout. He wanted to play QB. Easy as that, hindsight is 20/20.

Brett Farve also wanted to go to LSU. We have certainly missed out on some great QB's. Hard to tell if a Great HS QB will be a Great College QB.
