Considering it's already been posted in this thread, either you're the dumb one or just being intentionally obtuse. Not sure which is worse.

I saw someone post some made up depth chart earlier in the thread, but Georgia's first released depth chart of the year actually listed Bennett, Mathis, Daniels and Beck as QB1 with an "OR" between them. Bennett is actually the only dude who had even taken snaps for Georgia coming into the season as well wasn't he?

Looks like Georgia had a bunch of guys of which the coaches thought about the same. I guess Mathis had a little edge since he started the first game but Bennett was at least a close second as evidenced by the quick trigger to pull Mathis and the fact that Stetson has pretty much all the snaps since the first half of the first game.

It must sound better to Georgia fans to say they were playing their 4th string QB for some reason, but that rings a little hollow when that guy has been QB1 pretty much the whole season.

Monken told him he would not start and was looking at 5th string. Half way thru the first game, he was qb1...

This game was over regardless of who you started at QB.

An average qb in our O scored 24 points in one half and you think a better than average qb can not turn the ball over and give Bama 21 extra points that changed the game. Did you even watch the game?

Bennett put up QBRs of 96 87 and 92 in the 3 games leading up to the Bama game. I wouldn’t classify that as average. Y’all don’t have the skill on offense to keep up with Bama. I don’t think even Newman would have helped you there. It may have been closer. Plus when is the last time Georgia even had a great QB? Stafford? Kirby also let Fields walk because he thought Fromm was better. That’s some classic shite right there.

The player acquisition and retention needs to be better. Had 2 transfers come in, one is hurt, one opted out, and the former 5 star is now quarterbacking the Buckeyes.

So who was the heir apparent last year for GA? Who would have come in if something would have happened to Fromm?

To me that is the issue with GA this year, there was no legit back-up QB last year so no legit starter this year from inside the program. Sure you can bring in transfers, but we all see how that turned out. It's almost like Kirby said Fromm and Fromm and that's it!

How is Georgia magically better than everyone else?

They were literally losing to Arky and Tenn at half time.

You have to understand the grad transfer took some time away from the younger guys and opts out at a pretty bad time. He would have been a nice fit with Monken.

Daniels was also counted on to provide competition and he probably has long lasting effects from his knee injury.

Now it's wildcard candidates with no proper offseason. Just the way the dice shook out. There was a article on UGA having the deepest QB room to what it is today
