An alcoholic just manipulated the entire state of A1abana. Both sides. That is humiliating!

If you think that's funny, wait until you find out a backwoods cajun drunk convinced the state of Lousianna to give him a raise when no one else wanted his services.

He's Nick Saban's replacement once Nick retires after winning the NC Game.

At least he didn't cover up for rapists and funnel money from a Children's Hospital to pay players though. I'll take a drunk over that any day of the week. I'm sure Auburn would too.

No one knows what will happen months or years from now, but of all people, wouldn't it make sense for Saban to at least have a plan in place?

The plan should be to hire someone who can win at a the highest level. If Saban retired this year I would hire Napier. He could turn out to be a Dabo type coach. Sark would be decent but would likely be no better, and likely a little behind, Jimbo and Kirby, maybe Mullen.

That's more money than all but 39 FBS head coaches make, including Matt Campbell, Mack Brown, Luke Fickell, and Sam Pittman.

Thanks. I was wondering where that would put him and was too lazy to look it up now.

Drunko was instrumental in ending your most precious streak! You bozos got robbed in a yuge way.

I’m legitimately embarrassed for you. Let’s hope he doesn’t blow another perfect season in the CFP for you guys.

True, but that's an awful lot. $1 mil more than any other asst. coach in the country I believe.

Well, if you've got the money why not spend it on the the guy you believe is best offensive coordinator in college football?

Plus, he's more than an OC. The Iron Bowl showed that he truly is an assistant head coach in every sense of the term.

I told people that the difference between Alabama and Auburn is that when they hire their next HC, instead of paying someone $21M to leave, Alabama will be able to just toss another $21M on top of the pile of money they would offer Dabo or whomever.

This is just a small part of that reality.

You can see the fear

I mean we're just paying him around a million more. Even if we did that for 10 more years it will still be less than the buyout money Auburn, rocky top and others have paid coaches to not coach for them the last decade.

People claiming this is bad for Alabama have lost their minds or never had one to begin with. No need to expound past that.
