Les Miles has not denied interest in the job and espn radio just listed him as a possible candidate, as I type this they just said it live on air. Les is currently an espn employee too. I don't know anything you guys don't, but the people who would know are not denying it. I don't believe this report and I believe he is indeed a candidate.
You're not getting it. Les Miles is contractually obligated to seek employment per his buyout. He has to express interest in at least a few jobs a year. However, if he were to take a job, his buyout from LSU would be offset by whatever amount the new salary is.
Unless someone offers him substantially more than 4.5M a year, Les is going to keep sitting his happy arse on the couch eating cheetos while his agent makes sure you see "Les Miles interested in X job" across the ESPN ticker every once in awhile.

Are you that fat UT fan that everyone laughs at when he posts videos of himself cussing and throwing things after a loss?
Dude, you need to get less worked up over anonymous internet posts. You're going to pop a blood vessel.

Been thinking this since Friday. He will do an exhaustive search and determine there is no one out there that has what it takes to bring back the Vols to their once great stature in college football. With that, he will humbly offer to take on the task of 'temporarily' assuming the duties of HC and will bring in Vol great Tee Martin to be OC and groom him for the future. He loves UT and will make the great sacrifice to get them back where they belong.
I think he'll just hire himself, write up the contract and get it signed, then fire himself for the sweet buyout money.

You have written a short story via two separate posts because I criticized your boarding skills. I am not sure what your angle is here but no, I am not a morbidly obese middle aged man with no teeth.

I think its pretty obvious that Phil wont make himself coach based on the fact that he explicitly stated it during his opening presser and that, unlike Clinton, Phil isnt in the midst of a sexual scandal and doesn't need to lie to protect his job or reputation. Simple enough
