He was a very good RB in the SEC. His success or lack thereof in the NFL doesn't change that.
However, I don't think any Alabama fan ever argued that Richardson was the best RB in the history of the conference.

I have a list of the pathetic rush defenses that LF7 got the privilege of playing against in 2015. It’s embarrassing how bad they were. He literally played the worst 2 rush defenses in all of football.
