You obviously have a keen grasp on how schools are ranked. Thanks for your insight.

:kige:

But anybody following the news even haphazardly post poop and safe space issues has had articles available on the downturn in Columbia, MO

You are welcome but plenty of publicly available sources like NSF for actual data or ARWR (or similar rankings) for some guidance. I personally am not a fan of USNWR but others seem to use them. I used to like Carnegie but this last go round, if you are a P5 you are pretty much in it now.

I did notice a few years ago the CIC showed some cracks in the top schools no longer accepting the lower CIC schools. Not sure if this was blowback to Nebraska getting in or a pre emptive strike on Oklahoma in the future due to how far down the ladder the Sooners were. Not like the Sooners were terrible (Top 100 to Top 120) but well below almost all in the CIC who are sitting at 50 or lower.

Remember when Mizzou went 4-8 last year.. Oh, and 5-7 the year before

Do we go 4-8 or 5-7 if we have The Mad Hatter as our coach? LSU fans can tell us.

Just looked at rhe new rankings for academics in 2018 and Mizzou was like 120

That AAU accreditation maybe up for debate

This is what happens when the only research you're doing is meth and ACLU lawsuits.

Missouri is SJWu. They have no common sense.

Anyone who mouths this nonsense is borderline retarded and shouldn't be taken seriously ever again.

Top 100

No disagreement there, just not where current AAU is pulling members from. Less of a slam on Missouri than a reality check on the Sooner fans who think Top 100 will get them in the B1G or CIC. 250 million difference between 250 M and 500 M is a big gap to close. If the B1G got Nebraska the boot, not sure I would feel good about it if I were a current or former B12 school not named texas.

Yes, damn autocorrect from computer causes errors often

ARWU is one of them but there are several more including one from England and one from the middle east. None are perfect but at least looks more at academics than end user and business influence of USNWR and them wanting to sell issues and advertising.
