yep, you have no clue what's going on, that's not even a long shot option. Have you held onto this butthurt since '10, or did something come up recently to rustle the jimmies?

No offense, scrooster, but which of your wins has you convinced you can beat an elite team?

I'm not saying we'd crush you, I don't know that. But I'm wondering where your confidence is coming from.

No offense taken.

I've never been a blind fanatic. Never drank the koolaid. Over the decades I've sort of become in-tuned with the Gamecocks and all of their ruminations if you will.

This is a young team - only 4 seniors, but they've been growing together, developing some chemistry. Florida may be a battle for us, hell so might Coastal. Clemson definitely will. But in my life I've seen chemistry develop in groups of young men ... when I was a paratrooper, as a businessman later in life ... and I've watched it happen elsewhere in sports ... like the '69 Mets for instance, I was there watching, it stuck with me - the chemistry aspects of success.

This Carolina team has developed some serious chemistry ... it started with the comeback win at UCF. It was tested with the disappointing last second loss at UT. It got stronger with the comeback win at Mizzou. Gutsy players continue to make gutsy plays ... and everyone is back and healthy beginning this week.

Can you tell the difference between "typing" and "saying?"

Can you say to yourself, sitting there in your stained tighty whities while hitting your mizzerite bath salts ... can you say to yourself "damn, those mother frickers beat us in our house ..." and say it in your best Kenny Powers voice, okay dumbass?

I didn't ask you to type it. I asked you to say it. Over and over.

Now I'm going to say 'control our own destiny'.
Then I'm going to sit here in my clean plaid fashonable boxers and hit those bath salts

No doubt, you control your own destiny. Two tough games ... one on the road, one at home.

We've got one at home.

We're also depending on Auburn beating UGA of course, you're not.

It's going down to the wire - that's what happens every year in the SEC, but from my perspective the odds are slightly in our favor. All the pressure is on Mizzou.

At this stage, any team that has handed another team its only loss deserves a bit of confidence. Granted, handing Mizzou its only loss isn't quite the same as handing Stanford its only loss, and I doubt Utah could stay within four touchdowns of Bama. But I wouldn't overlook USCe. Bama was the better -- or at least the more talented -- team in 2010 and USCe outplayed them.

All true. No doubt South Carolina is good enough to pull the upset, I just thought you were saying more than that in talking about being "the only team that can match up". Alabama is NOT invincible, but we are as balanced all the way around as I ever remember. I wonder what it would look like to line up against Clowney and company this year.

Good luck.

If I was bama, playing usc in the SECCG, I wouldn't really worry about clowney as much as the other DL. Kelcy Quarles stuffs the middle of the line damn near every down. The kid is a beast. All our other DL are quite talented too.

I know this might sound crazy, but Florida -vs- FSU is no gimme. It's a bad match-up for FSU, but all this depends on Florida having some fight left.

* FSU running defense is vulnerable up the middle

Small LB's could be a problem against a physical running team. If Florida comits to the run like they've done beforehand, they'll have success. If Florida lets their iffy QB throw a bunch, they'll lose. FSU DL has looked gassed early in some games too. No one has taken them far into a game either, they're unproven here. If Florida can get to the point, I think FSU defense will be in trouble.

* FSU hasn't faced a defense like Florda yet.
It will tell us if FSU can handle a physical team or not.

* Florida has the athletes to hang with FSU athletes on offense.
Mismatches won't be so easily had.

* Rivary games on the road are always scary.

Florida isn't great and has been hurt by injuries, but FSU could get all they want and more from this game.

MSU has to get past Nebraska this week before any talk of Ohio State happens in Indianapolis.

This year's Carolina-Clemson game will be the hardest fought in years. I'd love to see us mudhole'em, but this one is gonna be bloody I'm afraid. It's just due and they're not going to go down without a fight knowing this will be five in a row.

Considering the only team Jr. has "mudholed" is lil' ol' Arkansas, I'd say the odds are lonely as Jr's ranked wins.

Now Clemson... they've mudholed with regularity. Made a habit out it. So the odds of delivering a mudholing are squarely with the Tigers in that one.

The fact that Jr fans live in fear, doesn't surprise me in the least. It's like Gamecrock pheromone...

Bama can be beat, no team is unbeatable
I gotta agree with your balance statement. I don't recall a Bama offense having so many legit offensive weapons like this in my lifetime. Now any team with a good QB that can keep Bama's defense honest could be a problem. This years defense isn't a shutdown defense like Bama's 2011 defense was. Especially with 3rd & long situations(Bama has gotta fix this weakness) Fortunately I think Bama has a good enough offense to play in a shootout if needed. Anyone who knows Bama's offensive history knows this isn't usually the case.

Bama has got some tough games ahead

@ Auburn
SC or Missouri
FSU

If Bama can keep winning, Bama will have to play well to win these above games. Even Miss St. could be dangerous after such an emotional & physical game against LSU. Bama's game against Miss St. has let down game written all over it, and it's a SEC night road game too. That's never a given in CFB, and we'll see if Bama stays focused or not soon enough.

You're right, but SoCal is not in the Top 25 of the BCS yet. Eddie O. does have the Trojans playing much better than they were, no doubt about it.

Already got that one listed, but you're right ... and let's hope Mich State takes OSUe out of the conversation.

The Gamecocks have a 10 year lease in your head. Seriously, y'all may not have a shot at us until after Spurrier retires and your butthurtness is consuming you.
