So if your runner stealing a base is toast, just touch the catcher and have you guy jog back to first.
uhhh no. If you intentionally do it then its batter interference

Common sense people.
You could use a dose of this

the bama game is flying by already in top 7

I can "accidentally" bump the catcher just as easily if my guy gets a bad jump. You're blinded by the fact your team benefited.
I'm just bouncing checking games and see the stupidest call all year.

Well aside from Schrock, DC, & Kmart our team can just not hit this weekend.

Considering they got the call right I'm not sure how you think its "the stupidest call all year"

No, just because you're too stupid to comprehend the rule doesn't make me a homer for explaining it

GSU just got robbed of a double.

We've struggled to hit the ball all season. Its pretty frustrating the amount of runners we've left in scoring position.

Yep, dangerous inning so far for us.

If it happened to Campbell, you would easily see the other side.
The throw was so good the guy turned around to run back. Still out, but now he's safe? The rule wasn't intended that way.

Bama ends the inning still up 4-0.

You missed a unique inning, I definitely learned something new today from that ruling that's for sure.

So how about ending Louisville's baseball and basketball seasons in the same year?

We'll have to beat them twice to do it. But man the melt. My coworker's kid starts for UofL too and he's been a mouthing a bit.

Umps got the call right so the protest doesn't matter. They didn't call interference on Pankake because he was in the batter's box and didn't exaggerate his follow through swing. Since he did hit the catcher on the follow through though, time is called and the play is dead, unless the initial throw from the catcher gets the runner out, which it didn't.
Makes sense. And it fortunately didn't matter anyway since USC didn't score anyway, but it did suck for Campbell...they're like "wtf, we didn't do anything wrong...USC interfered -intentionally or not-, we threw him out, and you're telling me nothing happenned??" The argument could be made that for all practical purposes, the throw did in fact get the runner out, albeit delayed by the rundown.
Weird deal, glad it didn't result in any runs and further criticism/debate.
