4 pitches
Story of our season. We have zero plate discipline.
ETA: It was actually 6 pitches, but that isn't much better.

Another pop fly and only 4 pitches, yikes.
We hack at everything. Have all year long. It's pathetic.

At this point Im a little worried for Bama in this one. Kennesaw St looks like they are ready to play.

The way bama has looked lately game is no surprise

Kennesaw definitely looks like they've had the better plate approach so far imo.

They're smack in the middle of probably the most fertile baseball recruiting area in the country, save for maybe Southern California. Don't let the conference affiliation fool you, they're going to have some players.

They've won 23 out of their last 24, pretty damn impressive no matter who they're playing. Hit .301 as a team, have a couple of solid pitchers. This starter has allowed two runs or less in 7 of his last 8 starts.
Our offensive approach and lifeless energy aren't helping.

For sure. Getting the bat on the ball much better also. These Bama pop-ups aren't looking very promising. Obviously the game is tied so it's not like this can't change but so far I'd give the edge to KSU

Our bats haven't been promising since mid-April

Damn, wild pitch moves him up to 3rd. Big AB here.

That stat they just showed is so
Last 19.1 innings Turnbull has been on the hill, we've given him 0 runs of support.

Is this the first game this catcher and pitcher have played together?

Yeah, but like 9 of those innings were against Nola though, so it's not as bad as it seems.

True. We've averaged fewer than 3 runs a game though over the past month in conference play.

Sac Fly gives Kennesaw the lead.

Inning could've been way worse though, thought he'd walk in the first run
