It seems to me that it is always the underdog whining about the refs. There are only two explanations for that. 1. Refs favor the favorites (which is bs) or 2. Whining about refs is little bro behavior.

I've never seen a forty yard long holding penalty. The 3 Ref's within 10 yards of the play must have watching cheerleaders.

Do you think officiating in college football today is up to par and nothing needs to be changed about it?

Yes or no

It's not cause of South Carolina. It's the conference protecting the cash cows

Florida regularly gets favorable calls against UK (Florida can deny, but it's true. Calls don't always make the difference though) and I'm sure it's that way for other teams too. MSU fans will attest im sire to officiating protecting bama.

Really, because I see bad calls every week. I also see fans booing officiating every single week. A lot of that is just fans being mad, and yeah, sometimes good calls get booed. Still, people complain about bad calls all the time. If you sit with a group of people and watch college football for an entire day you can almost be certain that people will comment on bad calls. Obviously there’s a correlation between how bad the call is, how much it affects the game, and how vocal people will be about complaining.

Maybe, just maybe it wasn't an ILLEGAL hold? Just because you thought it was a hold, doesn't make it illegal.

You were almost on to something until you nullified it yourself.

Why do you think the terms favor and favorites are related?

You call complaining about obvious bad calls little bro mentality but I call your mentality "short bus" ...

Yeah ... Whatever dude. I see you didn't mention the OBVIOUS false start on the same play, but like the refs, I'm guessing you didnt see that either.

I'm with the cocks on this. That was the worst no call holding I've ever seen in my life. A continuous hold for 30+ yards right in front of the runner and ump. I'm shocked it's not all over Sportscenter. That Ref should be fired.

To add insult to injury, espn put one of those supposed referee experts to justify the no call and he said "the defender looked content being held so it was a good no call" then failed to addtess the false start on the same play until the commentator had to ask him again about it and he looked pissed to have to say "yeah, they missed that one" ...

Haven’t seen the whole game but it looks like the Cocks got the short end of the stick on a couple calls.

Ncaa rule book clearly states the only player you can hold is the ball carrier. Did the defender have the ball?

It will be ACC officials and I hate to tell you they are worse. Sometimes I think they are just soccer officials that don’t have a game to work that weekend. I don’t think some of them even know the rules.

Sigh. It will take more than a little officiating help to win that game unfortunately.
