I’d be happy with 10+ wins though either way. Most fans of any team would be. A small handful of schools would consider losing 1-2 games disappointing season. We obviously aren’t one of them.
I genuinely predict we take care of business against SCAR and samford. But Texas will play inspired football and hand us our first loss. If we are fortunate enough to end up in the championship game I predict that to be a loss as well. Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and olmiss have the horses to run step for step with ours. None of our other opponents have. Being able to out-depth and out-condition our opponent will not be an advantage we enjoy in our final couple games. Honest assessment
I agree people should enjoy the success. But pump the brakes on gloating. It’s going to be a mighty big bite of humble pie at some point.
