he will no doubt implement an offense that will drive other coaches nuts.
Probably will win a game or two per year that are unexpected.
There are a bunch of two and three star kids in Miss delta that can be developed and give people fits.
He will get a QB and some very fast skill players.

are you under the impression that he couldn't have gotten a lot better gig than Mississippi Fricking State, had he exercised a little more patience?
This is the kind of shite sidewalk fans say. Congrats on being a douchebag front runner. I'll keep loving my alma mater and rooting for them to do well. Thank you for your concern.

I mean he lived in Pullman and Lubbock for years, Starkville probably looking good

You know Louisiana has the most NFL players per capita of any state, right? I’m not saying they’re all going to LSU, but MS talent does not equal LA talent, even if you didn’t have two schools fighting for recruits.
You’re aware Mississippi is second in that category right? And Mississippi was first as of the early 2010s. Get your facts straight before making claims like that.

You need to travel more, bud.
West Texas and Washington State are easily over backwoods Mississippi.

For all of that instate talent Mississippi has supposedly, neither ole miss nor state has won anything ever, not even at the conference level. Meanwhile, LSU is doing very well...so, yeah, that's a bunch of BS
Yes, very sound rationale you have there. No holes in that logic whatsoever, Aristotle.
You continue to be the worst LSU poster on this site.

Sounds like you need to visit Starkville. It's not 1992 anymore.
Starkville is a helluva lot nicer than that shithole LSU is in (although the campus itself is nice and one of my favorites).

Why would he regret it? Not like MSU and Starkville is a step down from TT and Lubbock or WSU and Pullman.
And here he has rich recruiting to SEC talent

Last I checked, we kept our entire signing class and are closing in on bringing in KJ Costello. I think we'll be ok.
Leach has done great so far with this. I think the change has motivated him

What wrong with making decisions drunk off your arse? Sometimes they work out great like getting a higher paid job in a better organization closer to your vacation home in the Keys. Pretty sure if I were in his situation drunk on the beach I'd have said hell yeah. If you like Pina colada and getting lost un Old Main

Because sometimes when you sober up you ask yourself.....
"What in hell did I do?"
Which is the question Leach will be asking himself sooner or later.

Mike Leach is a homerun hire
LSU days as the number 2 team in the west are numbered. You guys had a good run.

Just because your wife got bent on a trip to Starkville, doesn't mean Leach will face the same fate.
