Georgia is still the top team in the East but Florida is well on its way. So is Tennessee and Missouri. Georgia is not above Georgia-ing against the other three and most any team in the West.

But the gap between these four teams vs Vandy, South Carolina and Kentucky is fairly wide.

UGA lands some 5 stars and wins a few games and all the sudden they think they’re Bama led by Nick Saban.

He turned uga into a top 5 program. It seems like that really bothers you and others.

By bowl season no one remembered they even played. It was all over the place all the records Auburn and Clemson was breaking in their bowl games and that Texas beat the supposed to be great UGA.

They’re a top 5 program for 2 years. Bama has been up there for more than a decade. UGA will cycle back down to the usual 5-15 shortly. They are closer to LSU/Auburn than they are Alabama.

Yes they did. That's why Auburn was in the bowl they were in. Because they lose to teams like the Vols. Losing to teams like the Vols is why Auburn hasn't played in any CFP games. Ever.

Just playing a weak schedule every year gets you 10 wins. Richt did it almost yearly. So congrats on hiring another copy of the coach you just fired for not winning anything but games against Auburn.

People really out here overrating Florida. They might not even finish third in the east this year.

Who is overrating UF? If anything after the last few days on here, and UF being widely regarded as the team to drop out of the Top 10, not to mention being projected by many to go 8-4, I’d say UF is underrated at this point.

UF has the 2nd best collection of skill players in the conference, 2nd only to Bama. The OL is not full of true freshmen, rather guys who are older but have not started.

If Franks takes another leap forward, UF could be right there.

It’s almost comical how much UF is being brushed off right now.

Edit: I’d also argue UF has the best CB duo in the conference and one of the best DLs in the conference.

99% of the nation hasn't played in it. What's Bama excuse for getting their arse handed to them with supposedly the GOAT coach and QB after making it?

Glad you agree. It’s been 2 great years, and there is no current reason to think that changes anytime soon.

If Georgia was in the west it would be very interesting these past years.

No, what's comical is your coach and his inability to maintain a highly ranked recruiting class.

Cool. Bama and Georgia has. Bama has won a couple.

Don't have an excuse. Out played and out coached. Like Auburn was. By the Vols.

Uga has a lot of skill player talent. Maybe more than Florida does. At least on par.

We return older guys who have started and played very well.
