VC/Tick, you realize you already failed in the op, right? I don't think you do but it sure is funny to watch you try to be smart when talking college football. I always find it hilarious watching women talk sports. At least the good part is you try hahahaha. Nobody takes you serious but it makes you feel good.

Dude...I would say the same thing if my team had the record that your team does. It is embarrassing. As I previously stated.....Oregon State was on the cut line....they were listed as #23...and went on to beat Notre Dame in a bowl game. But as I said...hell, take them out.....14-4 vs 15-4...not that big of a difference......still light years ahead of 5-6...and 6-1 vs 1-6 against top 10.....but then when you look at the opponents, it is downright embarrassing for Arkansas.....really is.....They have beat one quality team in that period of time, Texas.....and only 3 BCS teams compared to LSU's 14.....hey....I wouldn't want to take me seriously either....btw...I'm not a woman...

An official college football poll.

AP, BCS, Coaches...

A preseason magazine isn't an official poll, unless you want to consider it one, then Arkansas is #4 by Phil Steele so we're preseason #4!!!!11!!!

dude...i said claim it....me I really don't give a shite and I agree, my opinion is worthless...I just know that if it were my team....I would not claim something that the national media that was the respected media (ap, upi) at the time, did not award. Hey, I really don't care. I understand the fact that if you don't have that, you have less than what you already have now as a member of the SEC...which is nothing.

I know I said I was done, but I found another error in the OP...Tulsa was a regular season game, so I believe it should be bold.

Should I start a thread for that too?

I thought you were done on page 2?

Also....you continue to argue over Oregon State. It is sad...your team is completely pulverized in the comparisons....and you hang onto a team that was presented as #23...which would have been one of LSU's worst victories.....let's talk about the top 10 games....?????? want to?

Just proved you don't know what you're talking about. AP changed the rule after '64 so that the final poll would be voted on after the bowl. Arkansas went undefeated in '65 but lost the bowl game meaning they would have been awarded the AP's championship under the '64 rules. Still claiming '64, the '65 AP would have been back to back.

All I hear is I'm a woman and I'm attempting to talk sports. That tells me all I need to know. Just take solace in the fact that nobody expects to take you serious. Reading your post is like reading the Onion or Mad Magazine. It does nothing for you but it entertains us. I actually enjoy it.

I cannot seem to find the word "poll" in the About Us section of this Football Writers Assc of America website.

Is it a poll or a publication?*

FWWA website

*or a bunch of lazy hacks that like the free buffet in the press box and the unlimited liquor at the tailgate afterwards!!!

Let me go check my stats.....hilarious that you are wanting to count tulsa...but in all honesty....i counted them in your 5-6 record. As I recall, they were the last team on the schedule, so I assumed bowl game without really looking.....hell arky may not have gone to a bowl game that year......in retrospect, I will check, but you are probably right....I should have known that arky has very few bowl wins. Tulsa...

I'll check, I'm sure you are right...probably oversight...but again, they are included in your 5-6 record.

We really need more women here. Would you please post a pic of yourself. I could use a few more laughs to go along with your attempt at sports info.

See Below..the FWWA doesn't mention anything about naming a National Champion via some "official poll". Could this mean......
