The AP Poll is wrong?
Oregon State was 7-5 in 2004, and never ranked once, yet you listed them as a ranked win in your OP.

You can take out our top 5 OOC wins overall, and we are still a hell of a lot better than arkansas.....I mean seriously.....6-1 vs top 10...compared to 1-6.......and 15-4 compared to 5-6....dude....get real....also....look at the teams lsu played and WON...compared to arky.....hell, arky only has 3 BCS OOC wins period...and two came last year against a&m and kansas fricking st...lol

I would gladly man up...if I were wrong. I'm not....and you know what I find funny....LSU is 15-4 against, with 15 wins against BCS teams.......Arky has 3......unreal...and you are trying to pick out perhaps the worst ranked team lsu played and question it....lol...look at your record against top 10....1-6....vs 6-1.....please.

You got that backwards in your post. I'm the idiot you are referring to, not Tigerbait2008.......I gladly admit when I'm wrong...hell, I'm wrong a lot....I've got three degrees, and trust me....I sure as hell don't know it all...however, my information is just as relevant as yours, and mine says Oregon St was ranked #23, and in fact, they went on to beat Notre Dame in a bowl game that year.

BTW, there were many years at the time in which multiple teams claimed a share of the national championship. You're trying to apply today's method of determining a champion to 1964 and it just doesn't work that way.
FWIW the NCAA recognizes Arkansas as having won a national championship in 1964. NCAA > VC.
