It is actually significantly different. Those were FCS teams that penn state and Maryland beat up on. Georgia southern is FBS and went 10-2 last year as well

I’m going to withhold on putting LSU #1 until I see what they do against Texas. Bama and Georgia took care of business in dominating fashion against P5 teams.

What did I say that was wrong? Bama did it against a better opponent. Auburn won against a ranked opponent in a very exciting game.
LSU beat the crap out of Georgia Southern. They looked good doing it but who cares? It's Georgia Southern. Again, do it against Texas and the narrative will change.
Bringing up South Carolina's woes doesn't make anyone more impressed with LSU beating Georgia Southern. Sorry.

You're probably right. Doubling the point spread is nothing notable when you pull your starter after a half.
