It's all contrived.
The whole reason tRant exists is because LSU wants to stir up hate to create rivalries since they don't really have a true rival. They have two options, Ole Miss and Aggy, but they perceive themselves as too good to be rivals of those schools (and rightfully so). They're begging Alabama and Florida to be their rival, but those schools aren't interested. In the early to mid 2000s, they had a little fling with Auburn but it didn't really last. So they're just kinda sitting around with their dicks in their hands.
