I think Louisiana is at Least #2
You are leaving out guys like Master P, Mystikal and fricking Boosie.
I don't know if we top at the ATL rappers, but we at least push.
Maybe i am too local to understand who has made a national impact, but I think yo probably suffer from the same Texas bias being from HTown.

"Bitch real G's move in silence like lasagna"
One of my fave weezy lines. Still curious why so many people don't get it though.

Thankfully, I've never heard of 95% of the "artists" you listed.
I'm at 98% and proud.

this is a category in which i feel absolutely confident about the fact that georgia (Atlanta, basically) is in first and no other state in the SEC is close.

I do think I like Georgia over Texas but I don't think it's a landslide. I do think both are better than lousiana however which would be third

Why is 3 6 Mafia not listed for Tennessee?

Boosie would qualify as "etc." and is therefore on the list.

I didn't neglect any rapper. Boosie is on the list under "etc." Sorry man, but there's no way anyone can touch Georgia/Texas for 1 and 2 those are the birthplaces of Southern Hip-Hop music.

Arkansas can't afford to be picky, the list is more barren than the Sahara Desert.

I just breezed through and didn't see Goodie Mob mentioned. For shame, people! They coined the term "dirty south."

Georgia is tops. Texas and Louisiana have solid lists, but the overall product put out by outkast, Luda, TI, pastor Troy, etc is so damn strong. Hell, TI got shot, went to hell, and killed the devil with tupac and biggie.

Lil Wayne and Master P have sold more records than some of those states combined. Add in Lil Boosie, Mystikal, C Murder, Webbie, and Juvenile and we got the #2 spot. Texas is #1 easily.
