He’s literally the biggest runaway winner ever with the most TDs and yards while leading the most dominant team in history

Yep Cam carried that offense for sure. They had 2 D Linemen disruptors I think but can't remember a recent national championship team with less talent around their QB than that Auburn team.

You think Cam was half the passer Burrow was in college? I don't think Cam beats Clemson and Trevor Lawrence. That's how special Burrow is THROWING the football.
Not sure why you replied to me, and if you downvoted me- did you read my post?

I quoted a guy who said Burrow had a much better supporting cast than Cam did.
I pointed out that Burrow had the same group the year before, and they weren't considered so great in 2018... they dropped tons of passes. Burrow had games where he was under 50%, but if you watched the game, he should have been over 75%. Not just once, but multiple games. And yet, Burrow kept throwing to them, and LSU still won 10 games that season.
I think that pushed those guys to step up their game bigtime in 2019, to where they didn't drop hardly anything. They did so because their QB did HIS job, fought his arse off, and... they let him and the team down.

My whole point is that Burrow elevated those guys, made them become "the better supporting cast". Cam didn't do that.

They still managed to go 10-3 and finish ranked in the Top 10 at the end of the season. Auburn finished outside the Top 25 the year before Cam Newton got there and the year after he left.

2019 LSU would have waxed all of those teams. Simply by out scoring them.

2019 LSU average PPG: 48.4
1995 Nebraska average PPG: 53.2

What's crazy is he still finished above Yeldon in rushing yards, yards per carry, and finished with the same total of rushing touchdowns. Had we used him more against Ohio State we probably win that game. He was gashing them.

Holy shite..are all LSU fand this lacking in knowledge of CFB? Burrow the best ever...nobody but LSU fans agree. Google shows LSU fans are extremely wrong without any question..but hey, homers will be homers. Insanity. They probably think Saban did better at LSU than he did at Alabama....He is not even in the top five ranking lol...insanity at its finest

Burrow had to play 5 years cuz he fricking sucks dude. Everyone else wins heismans in 3 years and then to the league. Hes probably the most handicapped heisman ever

So, you're saying that the person that made the graphic is an LSU fan and that all of the people that voted for Burrow to win by the largest margin ever are also LSU fans. Also, this is you in this very thread....

So, you have Burrow in the top tier, but you also say that only LSU fans have Burrow as the best. Jesus Christ the more I type the more I realize how fricking stupid your post was.

OU with 2 Heisman winners in back to back years and a runner up was crazy and will never be done again(Mayfield, Murray, Hurts). Maybe Mateer can get there though.

Brother, what?

Cam Newton didn’t elevate anyone, yet his team went from being 8-5 the year before to 14-0? 6 entire games better, when the SEC was the strongest it ever was, while having Gene and Gus run the show? Please.

You must be from Retardville, USA.

People are underrating Travis Hunter's season. its not the GOAT, but now that he did it you're going to see a BUNCH of players try to play both ways and not be even close to as successful. Having seen him in person now some of the stuff he does is honestly ridiciulous. Very good if not Legendary for me.

Cam is the GOAT, easy.

Devonta Smith should be solid. He wasn't even the leading WR on his own team until Waddle got hurt.

If Baker is legendary, I don't know how Jayden isn't there also.

This is one of the dumbest takes I've ever seen.

Justin Jefferson and Jamarr Chase were the ones doing the elevating here

Burrow doesn't lose to Ole Miss in 2008 and takes Florida back to BCSNC in 2009.
