No surprise to me that Arkansas is a bigger national brand than A&M, but just thought the Rant could use a little education on this after seeing how a lot of you think A&M is some sleeping giant that gets more national respect than Arkansas.

Makes sense with both Bama and Auburn without a pro team and a population of about 4.8 million.

Print the t-shirts, sell them, and move to #1 on the list.

This has nothing to do with national brands outside the top teams on the list.

Arky is a one horse state. Surely you see that.

aTm is not a national brand at all. Their fans are likely one of the least amount of sidewalk fans along with Vandy.

The absence of pro teams in certain states really skews this. Also, the difference between 15 and 20 on something like this is likely going to be small.

They were probably saving their money in anticipation of all new SEC related merchandise that was soon to be released.. Why waste money buying old Big12 shite?

Well, it should be clear that Bama has the most sidewalk fans and there's nothing wrong with that. We have a ton too as do most big "Flagship" schools in large states.

Per usual.

Look at the State populations in the top 20. This makes Arkansas even more impressive just like our TV numbers.

Pretty crappy with a state as massive as Texas, they only have 1 team in that entire state in the top 20.

A&M has twice the student population, and is located in a state with almost 9 times the population, yet Arkansas sells more merchandise. I think that has at least SOMETHING to do with Arkansas being more popular nationally than A&M.
