How has Alabama kept up with the rapid growth in regard to classrooms and dorms?
Auburn seems to have exploded with growth after I left and enrollment is only up maybe 1-2k.

You’re still fibbing about this, I see.

UM is counting UMC in JACKSON in their total. That is like UAT counting UAB in their total.
UM’s total at Oxford is probably half that total that is reported.

UA is full of out of state kids from Illinois, NY, GA and FL. I want to say I read somewhere that more than half of their student body is out of state. That’s crazy.

I bet it’s fun going there and meeting people from all over.

Saban and the winning has ALOT to do with it. Can’t blame the kids. They want to go to a school that wins in FB.

I read that as well. We were at the other end of the spectrum, believe we had the highest percentage of in-state students in the SEC with something like 96%.

I bet that has a lot to do with the population of Florida. They don’t need to draw out of state students to fill up the flagship colleges.

Alabama not so much.. haha

No offense but a school with 96% instate students seems very boring. You’d never get to meet people from different places.

True, but Florida is a pretty diverse state. I'd guess a large portion of the in-state kids were actually born and raised somewhere else.

Bama is a large juco with a great football program attached to it.

At least academically speaking. There is a reason why bama grads make less than just about every SEC school. Which isnt a high bar to begin with.
