Latest estimate for Neyland's final renovation year is 2020! Are you kidding?! I have no idea why it would take that long unless they are going to make additional changes/upgrades. The original estimate was 2004 thru 2012. It takes 16 years to lay brick, install glass, remove ramps/add elevators, and add iron work?
Plus, this year's renovations won't be completed until next summer. At least the "Voltron" will be ready for this season.

It really depends on how you rate it, but your argument doesn't really hold water since TS is consistently rated in the top 5 venues for toughest places to play.

So because of the outside of the stadium is why it shouldn't be top 5 sec? I know you have a sweet stadium but maybe your grading standards are flawed.

The loudest I have ever heard a stadium in my life was at BDS Bama/LSU 2007 after Arenas ran the punt back for a TD.
