OP is asking for a rehash of the Capital One Cup, as far as I can tell. LINK

For SEC men as of 1/8/2013:
1. Alabama
10. Georgia
16. Texas A&M
22. South Carolina
39. Florida
46. Arkansas

Strangely, Ole Miss isn't on the list! Sam Houston State is #5 in the country, so strength of schedule obviously isn't considered. But then if you're only comparing SEC teams SOS would mostly work itself out.

I will admit it was a bit of a homerish pick.

Yeah we had Chase both those years.

You guys were probably down those years but that 2007 team could have beat anyone in the country.

Beat the porkers by 6 touchdowns in the Cotton Bowl

We have the largest athletics department in the SEC and most of our teams are ranked.

You're stupid.

Tell me a sport we suck at besides Baseball and Football that USC is far superior than us in. And honestly football is essentially a wash over the last 5 years.

NO. We played in tSEC while y'all were pussyfooting around in the Big 12. Thought you might have figured out the difference by now.

It probably goes something like UF, LSU, TAMU, Arky (I'm not listing in order).

Every school in the SEC would trade their athletic history for Bama's without even thinking about it.

I doubt any LSU fans will admit it though.

Taking a closer look, I'm sure the current standings are for this calendar year only. 'Bama leads by virtue of their football NC and nothing else, for example.

For 2012:
1. Florida (also in 2011)
4. LSU
6. Alabama
7. Kentucky
8. Arkansas

That's all I could find. Ole Miss not in the top 5 - but hey, neither is A&M.

Florida has the best athletic department in the SEC. They have the best athletic director in the SEC, and I'd probably put him second in the country after Jurich. That said, I'd rather be Alabama now, and it's not close.
