Only one of the three will make it to year 3.

I agree. I think this Arkansas hire will be worse than Morris.

Cant argue with it in terms of HC ability. However, all three meet their current needs equally.

$3 million for an OL coach. That is overpaying.

1. Mizzou
2/3 Arky and Ole Miss.

The Lane Train fascination will subside pretty quickly over the next few seasons.

I can’t believe they didn’t go young and energetic.

I don't see any of them as a slam dunk. All came from pretty weak positions so it's not like they're pulling away a proven commodity from a p5. That said, I like Mizzou's hire the best. Not a huge sample size, but I like what he's done at App St. Kiffin is a fun guy to follow, but I don't want him as my HC. He may win a few games he shouldn't every now and then, but he's not building Ole Miss into a west contender. Pittman is the biggest question mark. They've gone out and gotten the big name (Big 10 champ!) before and failed. Maybe this is a better fit. Coaching hires can be a bit of a crapshoot at times.

Next season is going to be tough but Lane is absolutely the best hire.

If y'all would have gotten Napier, it would have been the best hire by far.

Nah, you are pretty much guaranteed at least 2.75M to 3M for an SEC job no matter your background now. 4M was too high for a 1 year HC at an already established program imo. Doesn't have anything to do with who will actually be better but some value there in case things go wrong.
