All homerism aside, we have a very good staff. We added two assistants this year, and can only speculate about them, but one is a well thought of NFL Oline coach and the other is Paul Rhoads as our DB coach. Rob Smith is a solid D coordinator and I have Dan Enos posters all over my wall in my mom's basement.

Arkie is a tough out for LSU lately. But I can't see ranking their staff above LSU's or even close tbh. Bottom line is they haven't won anything, or even come close. It's like ranking Ole Miss above Bama. LSU is 5 years from their last SEC Championship/NC title game appearance. Averaged about 9 wins/year since. Hogs haven't done anything close to that.

I think LSU is pretty hilarious too. They suck, and they have basically become a rent-a-win for the hogs over the last couple of years.

So because you beat us two years in a row that means LSU is now a Rent-A-Win for Arky? Makes sense.

LSU fans don't know when they'll beat Arkansas again

I would probably rank Alabama all the way at the top and LSU all the way at the bottom.
LSU is an absolute conundrum. I don't understand how they can gather top tier talent, yet squander it every single year. It starts with the head coach, and Les Miles is past his prime (if he ever had one).

Les squanders talent every single year? He's been to Atlanta three times, won twice, been to the BCSCG twice, won once. You can count on one finger the coaches in the SEC with a better resume than him.

I think Bielema has assembled a very solid coaching staff at Arkansas. Probably second only to Nick Satan.

of course you do

oh...... so in your opinion LSU Arkansas games have been competitive over the last couple years?

Wat

The Arkansas staff is more proven than LSU's.

Not to mention lsu fans would trade Miles for Bielema in a second LINK

You can't criticize L5U coaches with their revolutionary Dive toss on 3rd and 7 and Dime coverage on 2nd and 3 on defense.

Arky's staff is being given too much credit. They improved a lot across the season but the early season losses haunted them. It's not like the front nine counts less than the back nine. At the end of the year they were 8-5. We (try to) fire coaches for less than that.

I'm not really looking at specific games or even seasons. Bilema has won tons of games at 2 places, been to a bunch of Rose Bowls and won conference titles. He's a top 3-4 coach in the league. Enos is a top 3-4 OC in the league. Smith has proven to be a good DC, we will see how good this year in year 3. He is a top half DC.

So, add all that together and that is a Top 3 coaching staff.

Miles is the #2 coach in the conference, Aranda is an elite DC and Cameron is a middle of the pack OC. So, like Arkansas, they are Top 3 too.

I find it very funny when people try to act like winning in both places is exactly the same.

It really is amusing. You don't see Ole Miss fans seriously saying their staff is better than Alabama's despite a two-game win streak. And Ole Miss has at least been to a Sugar Bowl.

People can talk about coaches doing more with less, etc., but winning trophies really is the bottom line. Grats on 2 x boot.

Based on the Arky and ATM fans I've met in person, the online persona really is fitting.

SEC keeps pairing us with some interesting seasons-end matchups, that's for sure.
