Arkansas has pissed in LSU's cornflakes more than a few times. I especially remember one time when LSU was the number one team in the country.....????

And when you fire Pittman in three years, including his buy out it’ll be around 17 million spent as well. In 5 years y’all will have spent just as much as A&M did on Jimbo, be winless against Aggy, barely have a .500 record over G5 teams, and won’t have finished higher than 6th in the division. What’s the non-existent discount for failure get you other than the added bonus of being less likely to attract a big time coach because talented coaches avoid dumpster fires?

I think it was a safe hire. He did well as interim at USC. I was shocked they passed on him. Think where the Trojans would be right now if they had placed some faith in him.
The Pittman hire is way more questionable. He wasn't ever even an OC. However, he can't really be any worse than Chad Morris and he will definitely rebuild our line which has been dogshite for the last 4 seasons.

Too bad Arky isn't good enough so LSU could say "yeah, but we beat the national champions".
