I guess the SEC was to busy making Florida go there 3 times, which made no sense.

UGA has played LSU at home 3 times from 2004 until 2023.
They've played them away 3 times.
They've played them in the SEC championship game 4 times.
Yes, everyone (including UGA) plays in Georgia when they make the SEC championship game. That's not about scheduling, it's just where the game is played.
You're trying to make even scheduling seem uneven. LSU hasn't played a game in Athens since 2013. They're not ducking playing UGA in Athens, it's just how the schedule worked out.
As for A&M, they aren't a team worth ducking. If UGA had any say in things and wanted to duck a SEC west opponent, A&M would be 3rd at the highest on the list of teams to duck. Since the SEC expanded in 2012, the only teams other than Auburn (UGA's permanent opponent) that UGA has played more than twice in the regular season have been Ole Miss (who was on the 2012 schedule which was left as unchanged as possible when Mizzou and A&M joined the SEC), MSU (who was added to UGA's schedule in the 2020 covid season) and Arkansas (who was also added to the 2020 covid season).
Would UGA fans have cared if they played A&M rather than MSU, Arkansas or Alabama in 2020's covid year? Not really.. A&M occasionally has good teams but they aren't a scary opponent. I

This.
It's also funny because it's blatantly false. UGA has consistently has the best OOC schedules in the SEC since the NCAA went to 12 regular season games. Few SEC teams play more than 1 P5 OOC opponent each year, where as UGA plays 2 most years and has had some in the past and a few more going forward with THREE P5's OOC games. Going forward UGA plays 3 OOC P5's in 2026, 2026, 2030 and 2033 and still has several seasons where they might add another P5 as there are still multiple games unscheduled. Every season from this year until 2034 has at least 2 P5's OOC each year.
Combine the the best OOC with a normal SEC regular season rotation and UGA is rarely outside of the top 3 in the SEC in terms of overall schedule strength.
I remember in 2021 and 2022 people were talking about UGA's schedule being weak, but it contained as many or more ranked opponents in the regular season each year than all but 2-3 other teams nationally. And as many or more ranked WINS tthan anyone.else (both using end of season rankings).
UGA in the games they control take on tougher games than any other SEC team. Because of that their overall schedule, even when the SEC schedule is light, still regularly is top 3 in the conference if not the best in the conference.

OP, Aggies have been unhappy about this for years.

We’ve gone there 3 times since 2012, Georgia , not once.

I still thought we would play @ A&M 1st.

Didn't it also make @Aub. & @Fla. the same rotation cycle?
Posted on 6/21/24 at 9:32 pm to StopRobot
The C19 year was made up randomly & had 10 CONFERENCE games.
Now, if were only 8 games, I would have kept the rotation. BUT, with 2 extra games, that would have screwed up the pre-set rotation.

According to Sagarin SOS:
2017-Georgia 6th in country
2017-LSU 54th in country
2018-Georgia 10th in country
2018-LSU 5th in country
2019-Georgia 13th in country
2019-LSU 3rd in country
2020-Georgia 20th in country
2020-LSU 27th in country
2021-Georgia 10th in country
2021-LSU 7th in country
2022-Georgia 12th in country
2022-LSU 10th in country
2023-Georgia 27th in country
2023-LSU 28th in country
I believe this is where you should admit you were wrong. We consistently have abetter, or close to difficult schedule as LSU. Either you are wrong, or: LSU consistently has the easiest schedules. FIFY

Again you deflect from the truth. 4 of those times it was the SEC Championship game. This is a tired old argument. If lSU didn't want to play Georgia in Atlanta, they should have stayed home. It was a scheduled game by the SEC and you were not required to go to the game.
Of those 9 times 4 was in Atlanta, 3 in Athens and 2 in Baton Rouge.
Try not to be so obtuse. If you don't want to play in Atlanta, just say so. But you won't...just like you won't refuse to play in New Orleans. SOME LSU are born crybabies. Crap, dude. That's embarrassing.

Even worse, dude uses last 20 seasons, which conveniently cuts out the trip to BR in 2003, but fits in their return trip to Athens in 2004.
