Right decision. He will light it up at NFL workouts and someone will fall in love with him.

He deserves better.

QE is odd to me. I didn't follow his recruitment or his time at OSU at all. The first time I ever actually watched him play was the bama game in 23 and I was mega impressed. He was throwing gorgeous deep balls and frozen ropes all day. Then watching him this year he seemed so skittish in the pocket and never really had that "elite" air about him like I saw two years ago.

Football, like politics, is a situation in which the vocal minority receives much more attention than they deserve.

QE led his team to the semifinals, twice, and is well respected for his contributions and commitment to the program.

He clearly left the program in better shape than what he inherited.

For real, their best QB since Colt. In return, Texas fans pooped on his mullet and concrete feet.

Milroe will be either Jalen Hurts, a college QB known for legs who develops, or Anthony Richardson, a big armed QB who cannot hit a barn.

Oh sure sure they are going to love his 5.5 speed and weak arm strength.

Quinn will be drafted in the 1st round, and shortly thereafter the GM will be fired for drafting him.

I wish him the best. The NFL will hopefully develop his throwing motion to not get batted at the line so much. He has the capabilities to be a skillful quarterback.

Imagine being an NFL team that needs to draft a quarterback this year. Yikes!

Whorns dodged a bullet when Ewers declared for the NFL draft rather than transfer to another school.

Consider, if he went to another school and that team had a better overall season in 2025 than texas and/or Ewers stats were better than Mannings there would be a lot of people comparing it to Oklahoma and the Gabriel/Arnold saga.

Personally I think Ewers should have taken the NIL deal and played at the collegiate level for another season. He will discover those NFL defenses are bigger and faster than any he faced at UT.

Quinn's legacy at Texas is fine. He's one of the best QBs to ever play on the 40 acres.

#3 in passing yards
#3 in passing TDs
#4 in total offense
#4 in QB wins

Big 12 champ
SEC runner up

Back to back CFP semifinals appearances

4th & 13

2-1 against OU
1-0 against aggy
Won in College Station, Tuscaloosa, Fayetteville and Ann Arbor

He may be surpassed in the years to come with Sark's QB whisper reputation, but right now, he's top 4 QB at Texas (Colt, VY, Sam, Quinn) by the numbers.

He did all that in 35 games started, well behind Colt (53) and Sam (43)

Agree. He deserves to be applauded for what he did. Won the Big12 and made the SEC championship. I wouldn’t have expected that, even with all the talent that we supposedly have. Without Arch on the bench, I don’t think people would feel this way.
