clutch performer....sure buddy.
Washington: Last play of game with a chance to win. Our "clutch" qb throws the ball out of bounds where the wr has no shot to catch it. Again...LAST play of game where you really just need him to throw the ball in play. CLUTCH
Georgia 2x: Can't think of a single great play. Remember a lot of dog shite. CLUTCH
3rd Quarter: Do I really even need to say it?
So ready for our CLUTCH qb to leave.
If you are an actual Longhorn, you have to be the grumpiest I know right now... college ball is never perfect, and it's rare to have a college team get as far as Texas has this year...
Dude, look at the glass half full, not half empty... or ignore college football altogether and come up with some other way to have fun...

It would be quite funny if Manning turns out to be Jackson Arnold and Ewers leads a different school to the playoffs next year.

In our active imaginations Arch will be our perfect Fall 2025 quarterback, so we’ll hold with that right now…
But yeah, he could tear his ACL in practice, or falling down some stairs…
But at a minimum, Arch has already helped get us two solid recruiting classes and lots of T shirt sales, and the play from him we have seen thus far makes me think Arch is going to be ok…

As much as you probably would like the power to dictate who follows who and how I think I'll probably just not give a frick what you think.
Come back after Day teabags Sark next week and lecture me on "glass half full" mmmkay?

You are free to post what you want, and I’ll remain free to believe that you are not an actual Longhorn fan…have a pleasant day…

Right there with you.
He is holding the offense back which is holding the whole team back. His deep-throw attempts are pathetic.

QE stats, in 6 minutes of football:
1st possession: 2 of 2, 75 yds, 1 TD
Last 5:00 minutes: 12 of 15, 161 yds, 2 TD, 1 XP
Total 14 of 17, 82%, 236 yds, 3 TD & 1 XP, 23 points, 14 yds/att
QE last 3 passes were 2 TD and 1 XP.
Texas hasn't had a complete game in a while, but we all knew it was going to be a longer season than normal. Not peaking too early and saving some powder for the stretch run was part of the plan. Getting high quality performances from all 3 phases of the game, at the same time, is most welcome.
Time to put it all together.

His command of the game and decision making were on display when it counted, and Texas loses without him.
Sark needs to quit forcing things that don't work and play to QE's strengths and not his weaknesses. He knows a very complicated offense, has a quick release and is very accurate on the short and intermediate throws. That is enough.
Calling a play action pass before you call a running play is a pretty low percentage choice; no one bought the fake and QE was sacked. We end up in a 3rd and long and get a 3 and out.

Care to refresh my memory on the state of Texas football for the ~10-12 years preceeding Sark? Because they're now sitting on b2b CFP SF appearances, are 1 made FG away from B2B titles in DIFFERENT CONFERENCES, have an all time qb recruit waiting in the wings and the #1 recruiting class incoming in year 4
Given the state of the program when he arrived, the only coaches to do something comparable this century are Harbaugh, Urban, Carroll, and Saban(Stoops was hired in the 90s). And that is inherited a dumpster fire, overhaul everything and turn it into a perinneal contender before their 1st recruiting class graduates
Day hasn't done it, he maintained what was already there
Same for Miles at LSU
And Riley at OU
Even Kirby took over a Georgia team that was perpetually knocking on the door under Richt, he just got them over the hump
Dabo does warrant mention, but it took him 7 years and Clemson is nowhere near the pressure cooker of a Bama/Michigan/Ohio State/Texas/USC
And Kelly is still selling snake oil until he wins big at LSU

And you want to call someone an idiot while posting like a buffoon.
Do you understand that Sark layers his routes? IOW all of the receivers don't just run down the field. Yet, Ewers(like the ASU game interception) makes the wrong choices. That's a huge part of the reason, the offense gets stuck in the middle of games. You can't have all the receivers run 10-15-yard routes all the time.
Maybe it's Sark trying to protect QE, either way, QE will not carry a team. And I am looking forward to seeing what Sark can do with another QB who isn't scared.
And Ewers was a big reason why ASU made it a game after getting down by 16.

Can’t he or can he? That’s a big question I’ll be tuning in to find the answer for this Friday…
If the Horns pull off the upset, will definitely be some high drama…
