After seeing a thread on the sec rant yesterday I was just curious and just wanted to hear the honest opinion of the OM fan base. Do you guys really think Bo is better than Mett was? Just curious, good luck against Tennessee. (Not that you need it)

Mett probably had more tools than Bo does. I wouldn't trade anyone for Bo at this point. A 3 year starter who knows the system is a big part of our success. Not to mention that he has the ability to get hot on 3rd down and take over a game. (LSU 2013 and Bama 2014).

His arm isn't as strong and Mett has a slight edge in accuracy. Both made poor decisions. I'll take Bo's entangles anyway though.

I'm sorry but Bo Wallace did not take over that game last year the final was simply the result of LSU 's first half turnovers.

Bo is a much better dual threat QB while Mett is far and away the better pure pocket passer.

That's why Mett will start for an NFL team someday and Bo probably won't.

That being said, Bo has accomplished and will accomplish much greater feats and soar to much greater heights than Zack ever dreamed of during his time in Baton Rouge... Bo was damn close to having a 2-0 H2H record against Mettenbooger as well.

I'm not sure if he is or not, but at this moment I wouldn't change a thing. His decision making has been pretty good the past few games, and if it continues the sky is the limit.

I was going to say Mett until I looked up their stats. Plus Mett had a better oline and wr's too.

Couldn't you also say that Bo was very close to having an 0-2 record against him?

My only knock on Bo is that you can time his release with a calendar. He has a wind up that rivals Byron Leftwich.

Same. When Buchanan came in against Vanderbilt and threw the ball, his release looked like Dan Marino's compared to Bo's.
