Which would you rather have? An SEC regular season title, an SEC tournament title or making it to the Elite 8? Want to know your thoughts for the new basketball fans..

No, you want to know which one to brag about because you know Auburn isnt getting all 3.

Or if you’re Arkansas and just making it to the tournament and getting bounced early..

You got teabagged didn't you?

We’ve had all three in recent years. But this isn’t about Auburn and their recent success. Keep up

SEC title first and foremost. Conference tourneys are lame.
Mike White got to the Elite 8 (and without our best player too) and we didn't hang a banner or anything.

Elite 8 last year, whiny bitch.

An SEC regular season title means you were the best in your conference for 3 months while the other two could just mean your team got hot at the right moment. However, going deep in the tournament is the end goal so I guess if rank it NCAA tournament run, SEC champion, SEC tournament champion.

Hang the banner. The farthest an Arkansas team has made it in 25 years.

Making it to the Elite Eight. SEC Championships are nice but it’s all about what you do in the big dance.

Elite Eight
Regular Season
SEC Tournament
Regular season title is more difficult and a bigger accomplishment, but you can't beat the exposure of a NCAAT run. SECT is really only important if you need it to get you in the NCAAT

Of those 3, a regular season title.
A conference tournament title, while fun and nice, doesn't really mean much unless you had to have it to reach the NCAAT
An elite 8 appearance seems like it would be the obvious answer, but you didn't really actually win any sort of championship. Plus, it could just be a byproduct of an advantageous matchup in the tournament. Such as when you get to play a fluke 15 seed in the Sweet 16 to get to the Elite 8.
A conference championship represents sustained success over the course 18 games.

Arkansas has a banner just for making the NCAA tournament.

Seems appropriate for what they think is success, although they haven’t been able to win the SEC.
