From 1-10 how much do you fear texas football and what percent of chances do you think you finally beat them this year?

You have a much greater chance of going 6-6 than OU does

I’m sure they would trade losing to you for being able to go to the playoffs and have your arse stay at home.
I know we are alright with it. I’m sure they aren’t pissed as long as they make the playoffs and you don’t.
How was that last year for you? Beat both your rivals and no one gives a crap.

That may be true but it is also true we average 10+ wins and first conference appearance in our first year and and 2-0 against our main rivals(texas am). So what so you think your team will do?

I’d be ok with 9-3 and super happy with 10-2 and a playoff spot for a second year
My post was just to remind you that Oklahoma had a much better season than you last year just like Aggie, but congrats on the head to head wins
You’re in year 6 of a coach and in your 3rd consecutive year with the highest paid team ever in CFB if you don’t win 10 regular season games for a second year you should fire Sark
We are in year 3 after a complete program rebuild , we certainly overachieved last year but 8-4 for us would be disappointing if it happened

With regrettable respect…this years schedule for Texas is actually harder than last years.
Assume you beat A&M and OU like you did last. You absolutely could lose three games outside of those two games.
Tennessee.
Ohio State
Ole Miss
2 of those were playoff teams last year. So was OU and A&M for that matter.
I don’t think I would be so certain. Again, I say this respectfully giving a nod to the quality of your team.
You very easily could have three losses and not go. Not because Texas is bad but because your schedule is a tough schedule.

Maybe but we did not get taken to overtime by Mississippi St and Kentucky.

We have a simple goal this year... And that is to bring an intact QB who doesn't suck into the Cotton Bowl this year.
