I also like playing a tune up game the week before the last game (and the last game takes place on friday giving us an extra day before sec championship).

Not sure who LSU will get anymore.
Texas/Texas A&M will likely pair up.
I'm guessing Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will still play last game of the year, unless the conference move by OU upsets some people and they don't play anymore.
Arkansas and Missouri probably still will end the year against each other.
Ole Miss and State in the Egg Bowl.
Maybe if OU and Oklahoma State no longer play, then LSU and Oklahoma can match up? Or maybe LSU plays Arkansas and Oklahoma plays Mizzou?

Appreciate the props, but saying we are a much better program is kinda like putting a 6’0 man next to a midget and saying look there is a giant right there. Well yes, giant compared to a midget but in reality just normal, because the bar was so “low” lol lol lol.
Look, I luv playing TAMU at the end of the year and it has worked out for us pretty well, 8-2.
But the reality is, Texas and TAMU playing on Thanksgiving is what is best for the SEC, and best for college football. And to be honest the way they treated y’all before you left and after, y’all should want this more than any other game, in fact you should demand it.
Now for the bad news, what do you think ESPN wants??? LSU/TAMU or Texas/TAMU?
When you answer that question correctly, and everyone knows that right answer, then you know what will happen.
They are gonna make OU our new rival, which sucks they aren’t in anyway, but think about it they put a ratings bonanza back on the schedule in Texas/A&M and then they get another marquee matchup in LSU/OU to replace the LSU/A&M game! It is a huge win/win for ESPN, so you know that is what will happen.

Until Saban is gone, the Bama game is the only one we really really care about. Ya..Florida and Auburn are great games and semi-rivals, and we still hate Ole Piss as much as ever. The whole “boot” thing with Arky and the manufactured “rivalry” with them is ridiculous. LSU/A&M used to be a great rivalry 30+ years ago…but instead of at the end of the season..it was at the beginning. I don’t need LSU to have some special thanksgiving rival where we are stuck playing on a Friday.

OU is going to play OSU that week. The same way UK plays UL, UGA plays GT, UF plays FSU and SC plays Clemson.

The Arkansas game never had much meaningfulness (dumb azz boot trophy).
The A&M game has potential but in a new coke kinda way.
Ole Miss has historical significance and Auburn rose to the occasion last couple decades but no way will outvalue Iron Bowl.
I think Texas or OU would have bite.

Critical games for Aggies to keep are Arky and LSU. I hope we keep MSU and Ole Miss
I expect we lose the annual game with Bama which is a shame and pick up a game with Texas which I think about of as much as a pimple on my arse.
