I hope UGA makes the playoff this year. It's basically a first round bye.

Right, it’s so tough winning against teams like Mizzou and Kentucky week in week out.

You're 5-8 vs Kentucky

Spurrier wasn't a retread. He was a fantastic college coach who didn't work out in the NFL because it was too different. He didn't fail at Florida or SC until his final year.

I'd hardly call Nick Saban a retread.

You can tell who the tards are when they call Spurrier a retread. Florida was a perennial top 5 program when he went to the NFL, didn’t work out and he came back to Florida and their dumbass AD told him to interview for the job despite his resume being THE entire program, so he came here instead.

Muschamp was a terrible hire and literally no one wanted him.

What a prick Spurrier was and it was his ego that was the downfall of your program.

None of the other big names that were available the year you hired Muschamp have worked out either. He was really your only option.

Spurrier was a retread. He got lucky that SC had some stud high school recruits that they picked up when Tommy Bowden left or he wouldn’t have won near as many games. He saw the handwriting on the wall after he lost Clowney, Swearinger, and Gilmore. Spurrier’s offenses were mediocre at SC.

For a serious answer, a lot of the fan base wants billy Napier or Mike Houston. I want someone like Graham Harrell or someone innovative offensively.

I heard Dabo wants to prove he can win in a real conference

He has a better record over Saban than his former assistants combined.

What's his overall record against the conference as a whole?

He’s already proven that.

Imagine actually thinking this.

Not that big a deal when it’s the only game you have to prep for all year. Gus has made 100 million doing just this.

Middle of the road, which is what Clemson would be in the SEC. exactly South Carolina.

I think he'd be like 4th or 5th in winning percentage among active SEC head coaches IIRC

Dabo is 18-9 against SEC and 12-3 against the conference in the College Football Playoff era, including a 10-1 mark in regular season play during that time frame.

Clemson has won 10 of its last 11 against the SEC since the start of the 2016 season, including a 6-1 mark against the SEC West in that span.

not bad
