Gents, please read the thread title. This discussion is reserved solely for Texas A&M fans and, during the first Saturday of October, the occasional Oklahoma Sooner fan.

Thank you. That is all.

I don't know if UGA covers, but I think UGA will be comfortably ahead by the 2nd quarter and it'll be a bit of a snoozer from there on out.

Personally I am hoping that South Carolina plays better this season and puts up more of a fight. Watching last year's game in Columbia on television had all the energy of a G-Day game. By halftime there were actually fewer fans in the stadium than there are for a G-Day game.

Georgia's first two games of this season have also felt like G-Day games. I'm getting tired of watching G-Day games. Hopefully South Carolina can make some plays and make Georgia fans actually feel some emotion and feel like fans.

Dawgs need to be bloodied a little...not a lot but they need to get hit in the mouth. South Carolina is the kind of team that can provide that bloodied nose. The worst thing that UGA needs is a loss to the Cocks but blowing them out is not going to help UGA get better. There seems to be some complacency...getting hit in the mouth will get your attention right quick.

I am pretty certain that CKS said in a presser this week that he was probably a go last week and was definitely a go this week. McConkey is still game time, if memory serves...

North Carolina is probably a pretty good football team. They man handled south carolina (almost went with the obvious 13 year old boy humor LOL) and getting taken to the woodshed but winning against App State ain't nothing to ashamed of. Tarheels ain't winning a natty but they are probably pretty good. South Cackalacky may give UGA a 2022 Mizzoo game...and UGA needs one of those....

Jaheim Bell isn't playing for South Carolina. He is a problem for any defense.

That was the media who mentioned that.
You can thank them after the game.

How many false starts do you predict for the SCar offense on Saturday?

Normally I wouldn't want to be an opposing team after that comment and the crowd will make some noise early on but UGA should be comfortably ahead by the end of the first half and the second half is liable to be pretty boring. I hope not, UGA needs to be challenged and USC is the kind of team that can do it.

I am fine with getting beat in this one. We probably will.

I did still think it was a lowclass move for the reporter to ask Kirby the question about Tonka's answer at media days, and then I thought Kirbys response was childish. Very Dabo esk, especially since the kid was asked the loudest environments he has played in, and he has never played at UGA

Sooo with that said, if we get clapped, I really hope that Kirby doesnt mention Tonka again.

Rattler is dangerous if he gets decent protection.

SC will live abd due by its oline play this year though. Am hoping they can out together a decent showing against UGA.

I joke about it a lot. But I don't think Kirby digs into the external motivation bag for his team very often (maybe once or twice a season).

That said... his comments were directed to our fans. When Kirby asks, we usually more than respond (93k spring game. Travel to Chicago/South Bend. Loud for Arkansas 2021 at noon. Loud for Tennessee 2022, etc..).

Kirby is calling out the fans this week. It will be interesting to see how they react with the early gametime. I think it will be a rough day for the OL and communication.

spot on. That and if our defense can generate turnovers.

Rattler needs 300+, and 3 TDs. Defense needs two picks.

And a few big special teams plays.

Not impossible. But not particularly likely, either.

Still, I'm hoping for one of those Edge of Your Seat UGA/USC games like we used to have. That run from 2005-2014 was a shitload of fun for both sides, and great for the conference. Obviously, UGa has taken a massive step up, and we've largely regressed.

Still, as the seal of the greatbstate of South Carolina says, Dum Spiro Spero.
