I know we have some good Aggy posters here like Westcoast and texag7, so I was wondering what the fan bases opinion on Sumlin is? Do y'all think he is a good coach? What is the future of the program in your opinions?

I was all on the Sumlin wagon until the later half of the season. As of now I see him getting replaced unless something unexpected happens.

Who knows

It's not a trap.

I think he should have been fired this season. The team quit on him two years in a row. I thought when AnM joined the SEC if they got the right coach they could be very very good. Y'all got the money, facilities, and are the only SEC program in the state.

Why keep him?

I think he is a very good coach and think he will be here for many years. This year he tried his hardest to switch his offense to 50% run and 50% pass. He hired coaches to push the running game but the all the players he recruited were for the high powered passing game. Coaching schemes and talent need to match.

Shiner Bock or ZiegenBock?

Let's hear it, fellow Texans. Which one do you prefer?

How is that even a question?

I mean I probably drink ZiegenBock more because I am a cheap arse but they aren't close.

You might as well ask if Lonestar or PBR is better.

I understand that this is nothing but a flame/troll board, but could you offer some insight on my thinking that a coach who has his team quit on him two years in a row, has multiple players at QB transfer at the end of the same season, tweets out an insult to a coach with an alcohol problem when it is believed he has the same problem, and knows nothing about defense should be let go of its so unreasonable that it makes me the idiot?

What am I missing?

I think AnM could be a team that could be in contention for the SEC because of all its advantages, but I just don't see it happening with Sumlin.

That despite the uncertainty and perception of failure, right now we are having the most success we have had since the 1990s. From 2002-2012 we only had two seasons with eight wins or greater.
