He kinda has a point. Not hating on the aggies at all. Y'all had the best season you have had in a long time and still finished third in the division. In the SEC it takes a magical season along with some lucky breaks to make it out on top. If Sumlin keeps working hard he'll get you there but its gonna take a few seasons I believe.

Just because you keep stating this doesn't make it true. Just like how you tell yourself that your parents really did love you despite facts to the contrary.

"Aggies ceiling is much higher than South Carolina's though. When they start dominating Texas recruiting, they will just have a natural geographic advantage over SC.
I think they are going to have more staying power / consistency than South Carolina, even though what South Carolina has accomplished the last 3-4 years has been very impressive. "
i call bullshite here. we seemingly are able to somehow compete in recruiting against georgia. florida, tenn, etc. not worried about the aggies .

11 SEC wins all-time. I guess we're all elite.

U of Texas will always get the first picks the first picks in Texas u stupid frick. A&M done good this year because of their Oline and Johnny. They will lose 3 games next year.

No we are not SEC elite but we are building a program to get there. We need multiple good recruiting classes and the talent level at D to improve to win in the SEC more than less.
To be SEC elite you need to win the league you would think at least a couple of times. That might take a while. What is nice, if you win the league, there is a good shot you win it all.
What is even nicer, when you do not win you are still in the SEC and have a blast tailgating and having fun at games.

you obviously don't realize how talent rich SC actually is. Texas obviously has a larger talent pool, but SC produces a great ratio of top notch talent compared to the population size.
that coupled with the fact that SC only has two D1 programs compared to however many Texas has. I'd say USC has a pretty high ceiling also and we've got the coach to lock that instate talent down, which he has been doing by getting the past four Mr. SC football winners.

Someone may want to read up on how recruiting is going in Texas. #1 player in 2013 and 2014 committed to TAMU.
Also, we are pushing some of our lesser commits out the door right now - guess who is now trying to land them? Quincy is one example. Run along now...

Yep Texas gets whoever they want....guess they didn't want the # 1 and # 2 players in the state for 2013 and 2014.

My personal hope is for an A&M/USC matchup in the 2013 SECCG. A man can dream, right?
