Ohio State’s defense is historically good

They're good, but historically good was Georgia’s 2021 and 22 defenses.
Plus they.played a weak schedule.

Proves you haven't watched Georgia without telling me
They have the best defense in the playoff.
Texas and Miss St.both had really good offenses.
I've watched UGA enough to know you don't have the best defense in the playoffs. Ohio State's defense is better than yours top to bottom.
Mississippi State's offense has been nothing special this year. Their Freshman QB scored all of their TDs against your defense. They were 1-7 in the SEC, so that's not any kind of brag.
Texas' offense hasn't been all world either, and they've been nowhere near Ole Miss all year.
I've watched everyone all year. I'm just not looking at any of this through homer lenses, like you are which is understandable.
You're all acting like I said Ole Miss is going to beat you, but you're upset because I think they can put 35 on you which has happened before and can happen again.
What's next? Are you going to start bragging about how bad arse Florida's or Charlotte's offense is?

I think Bama, Georgia, Oregon and Ohio State win. I know some dipshits will downvote me for picking Bama, but I don't do wishcasting with picks.
I agree.
To be honest, Bama got a pretty good draw. There are two teams left (in the final 8) who I believe have NO shot at winning the national title due to not having enough talent on their rosters.
Texas Tech and Indiana... both on Bama's side of the bracket.
Ole Miss is borderline on having enough talent to win a title. But TT and Indiana have no shot.

Suprised posters picking Oregon to beat Texas Tech. Oregon's schedule was softer than Notre Dames and Texas A&M's. The only hard team they played was Indiana and USC....and they lost to Indiana. Texas Tech played a team ranked in the top 12 in the playoff in BYU and beat them twice and Texas Tech's defense is no joke.

They gave up 8 points a game. I don’t give a shite what you think about their schedule. They gave up an average of 10 between Texas and Indiana.
Georgia had some clunker defensive performances.

BYU is a joke.
Oregon strength of schedule is harder than Tech’s.

BYU finished higher than any team you beat in the rankings....that is fact. So how do you think Oregon's schedule was harder?
Posted on 12/24/25 at 11:40 pm to IrishDave
Look at any strength of schedule metric and Oregon is higher by a lot. They played Utah and BYU.
Oregon beat Iowa and USC in the top 25. The rest of the schedule is much worse

Also JMU is a top 25 team according to the committee
When Oregon cared in that game, JMU was as good as Oklahoma St
BYU is inflated. They’re well coached but don’t have a lot of athleticism

What are you talking about? Oregon didnt play anyone ranked at the end of the year but Indiana and USC....you went 1-1 and lost to Indiana. Texas Tech play a team ranked ahead of USC at the end of the year and beat them twice....so again...youre argument that your schedule was harder is shite.

Oh my, you Oregon fans should be so embarrassed if this is your argument how hard your schedule was.....

Also, the strength of schedule isn’t about top 25 teams only. Those metrics account for the entire schedule.

This was a counterpoint to BYU you dolt

You mean like when Oregon played Montana State, Oregon State, Oklahoma State, Northwestern, Rutgers?...all those powerhouses this year?
Posted on 12/24/25 at 11:57 pm to IrishDave
Dumbass…Tech played Pine Bluff, Kent St, Oregon State and Oklahoma State.
Nothwestern doesn’t belong on either list
Montana St might be the best on either list lol
