lol. I’m not a stat geek like you. I don’t spend all day combing thru websites. Do you have a job? I pulled that from an article . I can tell you’ll never let this drop so this might prop you up and make you feel better about yourself. I, like you and many others, thought Leonard sucked in the beginning of the year when I saw him. I was shocked by how bad he looked based on his rep. The fact is he has improved a lot since then. Whether you agree or not I could give a frick. Here’s the main point. Thats just not me saying it. That’s people who get paid for a living who know a lot more than either of us combined. Those are the opinions that matter. They’re paid professionals . If you find one paid pro that will today say Leonard is a bad QB you win. I don’t have a axe to grind. You’re entitled to your opinion but you state it like a fact and it’s not . I could give a frick either way whether Leonard is good or not. I just call them like I see him. As to which QB will perform better when they play. We’ll know in 9 days.

I don't spend all day combing through websites. Googling stats isn't hard. It takes about a minute extra to throw stats into a post. If it's harder for you than that you need to learn how to work the internet a bit better.

but he hasn't. I gave you evidence showing he hasn't. The guy has played every game for ND this year and has less than 2300 passing yards in 13 games. He hasn't been tearing it up later in the season... he still sucks.

You're doing the same thing Tennessee fans did with Nico early in the season. You're equating team wins based on RB and defense play with a QB being good.

ND is a team who's beaten mediocre and bad teams with bad QB play and a good defense and set of RB's.

Well, it's the opinion that's backed up by facts. Sure, Leonard could throw for 300 yards against UGA and lead ND to a huge win. That doesn't change the FACT he's sucked until now. It's not an opinion that he's sucked so far... that sub-2300 passing yard number SHOWS that he's sucked so far this year.

I proved that he averaged less than 200 passing yards a game for the season. His HIGH water mark was 229 yards passing vs Stanford.

But yes, you can try to pretend that's actually good if you want I suppose. Pretty much everyone will disagree with you, but you can defend that hill.

Notre Dame defense will stifle the third string qb from Georgia. Sec is way down this year

You may be right. About the time I posted I found out Paul Feinbaum had declared OSU a Champion caliber team and find that rather embarrassing. If they play hitting on all cylinders, OSU can potentially out score the Ducks if their defense stands fast.

I've seen them. It's one of the reasons UGA fans like me are not concerned about the Carson Beck injury. Guys that UGA have dominated like Ewers, Nico and Klubnik are fairly high on some of the lists. The lists also have an extreme amount of variance in their rankings which means the QB's don't have a lot of space between them.

THis is one of the weakest groups of QB's you could possibly have in a 12 team playoff. Beck likely would have been consensus #2 on these lists and he's had a BAD year. There's only one decent QB in the playoff... Gabriel.

The rankings do have Stockton last... because he hasn't played. They all say stuff like this:

"Stockton has to be last on this list because of his general inexperience alone"

"I'll need to see more before considering moving him out of the bottom spot."

The good thing for UGA is the other playoff QB's are pretty bad, so even if Stockton doesn't pan out, UGA has a realistic shot to win it all. But he also doesn't have to be all that good to be the second best QB in the playoffs... because other than Gabriel the whole list of QB's isn't good. And Gabriel is not elite... just solid

Hard to know but I expect Etienne to show out 175+ type of game.
