Pahokee definitely produces talent, and SPEED.

Pahokee has a population of about 7,000 and is a 2A school. Fred Taylor, Reidel Anthony, Anquan Boldin, Ricky Jackson and Janoris Jenkins come to mind as being from there and that doesn't take into account the numerous other players that go to D-1 schools every year that you don't hear as much about. Hell, even Mississippi State has a player from there in DE Pernell McPhee.

Thats pretty impressive. I had an argument on here with some guys a while back about the talent that South Panola had produced, versus the talent that Rock Hill, SC produces.

Yep. That was me. Told you so.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't South Panola beat the doors off Pahokee a couple years ago in one of those primetime cross-states games?

I think you are right, the big difference is South Panola is 6A school and Pahokee is a 2A.

4-A is the highest class we have in SC.

TideSaint, I was super impressed with them. They were incredibly dominant. Don't know how good Tupelo is, but when you win 70-6, it doesnt matter.

Tupelo is a solid team with a couple D1 prospects, They were 5-1 coming into the game against South Panola.

Given that one team is from Mississippi with state population of 2.5 million, and the other is from Florida with a state population almost 10 times that, I think it's safe to say that Mississippi 6A schools are comparable in enrollment to Florida 2A schools. Hell, there local populations are almost identical.

I got a frind in MS that coaches at a school South Panola played earlier in the year. He's watched em in person and said he doesn't see any way that they lose a game this year.

South Panola has some pretty dang big football players, their O-line is averaging around 300 across the front. Their D-line has 2 Juniors who will be big recruits next year.

They will finish 2nd or 3rd in their region. They beat a good Southaven Team. They have the best Defensive Lineman in the state in PJ Jones and are well coached by Coach Bradberry. This is the best Tupelo team since Bumphis' senior year.

Weak arse region. I know. I'm from Batesville and listen to USP shite all the time when I'm home. Being the best Tupelo team since Garrett and Bumphis isn't saying shite either.

Only 2 teams in the state that have a shot to keep it within 3 td's are Meridian who beat them a couple of years ago in the State Championship and Madison Central.

That's the key, and I don't see that happening...
