then so far Auburn has struck out on 11 candidates
that may be a record of futility
plus the targeted candidate, Cristobal, that never even interviewed

Interview? Or contacted to gauge interest?
Because coordinating and scheduling 11 interviews in a 24 hour period seems quite impossible.
Frankly, that makes Auburn look even worse than we thought.

If what you are saying is true (it’s not), then, Auburn is less desirable than Tenn.

Interview thru Zoom. I left off the times, but they were 2 hours apart.

That was two days after Gus was fired. They desired it, but once the Committee was formed, the Steele people torpedoed the process. Now they have egg on their face and we are back to square one.

horseshite!! Agents being "interviewed" to gauge client interest in an interview does not equal candidate interview. Done with you sport.

Those were the first few to be contacted. I was told Freeze actually interviewed twice. You notice there are no money people on the "Committee".

No Zoom with Agents. Most have the same agent anyway. These were actually interviews with these individuals. I am sure most did not want it out.

your insinuations were that candidates were lining up for interviews for the job, so why did so many turn it down?

I am sure many will say they turned down an interview. That is the magic of Zoom, and why it will be the new standard for coaching searches. I thought it was strange he interviewed the week of the SECCG, but I am sure he was at home looking at film when the interview was being conducted

People were lined up to listen. I am sure a Committee interview would follow, but again this was before the Committee was a President requirement.

How do you think Saban would feel if he knew his OC was doing an interview the week of the Championship Game. I think we have seen this before.

There seems to be a name missing here.
