Of course I wasn't proud of how Jameis acted and I don't have to be. We're gonna make mistakes and we should learn from those mistakes, just like Jameis and hopefully quay will.

So state ends up the winner in both scenarios, huh?

What about when kids from FSU were going to the mall and getting free shoes?

How about Jimbo Fisher dressing his kid up for Halloween like Jameis Winston and saying it was because he was such a good role model?

How did you feel about those?

We do pretty well, its just the signing day fiascos that get polarized. And Pruitt has orchestrated a few of them

A minute ago you were criticizing him pretty badly and pointing your finger at Georgia. now it's, "We all make mistakes and we hopefully will learn from them!"?

For some reason the tone of your posts on this subject seems to have changed. Imagine. Free Shoes University. The beacon of morality and comportment.

I can admit that FSU isn't perfect and our players aren't perfect. Look at things honestly and you won't have to warp your soul lying

Actually, I think you pulled a couple from Alabama this cycle, right? Asa martin and Coynis Miller?

Those are great pulls and will be great players for Auburn. But, it just seems odd that somebody is insinuating that Alabama needs to cheat and/or play underhanded to pull recruits. After 7 straight years of #1 classes, i think they do pretty well.

I'm still a little fired up from being lectured to by a FSU fan on how people should act.

I'm not starting threads glorifying my player acting classless. Again not judging the player as I have said about 10 times in this thread, he's a kid and I'm sure Kirby straightened him out. Surprised UGA fans are proud about him acting like that. Winning is new up there and they have no idea to act

FSU has a long storied history of their kids getting into trouble and skirting the rules. I just find it odd for you to look down your nose at anybody else.

“Volunteer insider” on twitter with an anonymous source is thread worthy?

You make a good point.

Vols Insider is a grade A fricking nutcase it would appear.

State and Arkansas have headlined their classes in years where Kirby screwed AU. It only took us 7 years to figure out, maybe that's why we have a staff full of 65 year old coaches...for wisdom. Ofcourse Bama still tried it the last couple cycles but Kirby is the master at it and was actually doing it against Bama.

We do every year, but those battles are won well before signing day.

They have done some underhanded things Pruitt was involved, as well as Kirby a few times.

It is what it is, but Pruitt being mad for being on the other end is hilarious

The line of posters that are completely rustled by UGA right now is long. Sort of odd to add an alleged FSU fan to the list, but please take a number anyway.

A friend was recruited heavily by Bowden at FSU(early 90s). He told him he needed guys on the team that could take their own tests. Friend had a high GPA, ended up at Tech

I’m pretty familiar with Pruitt and his temper, so yeah, it’s very possible he did this.

Are we all to assume that "having class doesn't matter to (FSU) tho" as a result of those actions...

This is why commentary as seen in this thread is so fricking ridiculous... An 18 year old kid made a dumb decision on how to handle a situation... regardless of the inputs from anyone else. Life will go on... the hope is that time in the program will help him make smarter decisions in the future... pretty much the hope of every team with a number of the recruits they bring in, because every team takes in at least some guys that are immature to some degree... it's part of being 18.

One kid's actions on signing day don't speak to the class or lack thereof of a university, whether that's UGA, FSU, or Louisville. If you listened to Smart's interview when asked about it, then you also heard that he wasn't happy about how it was handled but that it'll get sorted out when he gets to campus. Coupled with Sony's message, I'd say he'll get the picture.

He'll be more pissed now that he's announced it upsets him. Will happen more.

Idiot.

This is the way the game is today.

I enjoy it.

Makes it more entertaining.

Now we have a nice "rivalry" because of it.
