Pruitt is telling it like it is. The Vols need that right now. Badly. Pruitt may fail, but he’s not going to fail by pumping fake sunshine. They need the truth in Knoxville right now. Pruitt is going to give them that.

I don't disagree that it's a dumb comment. You shouldn't criticize the fan base you're trying to get to know when they did in fact show up. It's just not an offensive comment. But then, I consider 99 percent of coaches dumbasses anyway and expect them to say dumb shite. The only reason Pruitt's dumb comments are brought up is because he's at UT but trust me every single coach in the conference has said dumb shite.
