I meant the first two games. Didn’t know it was a Thursday start series

The only sure series win going forward is Alabama.

I think we are peaking at just the right time, but all it would take is one series where the pitching drops off or the bats cool down and we would be out of first and in that giant logjam in the SEC West. 6 out of 7 teams in the West could win the division going into the home stretch.

Not at a good time to start skipping on your high blood pressure if you are an SEC baseball fan!

Bama should be a sweep, but it's away so who knows. @ Arkansas will be tough. They just swept State. Ole Miss will be pretty tough as well. I don't see us sweeping Auburn.

I think if we play to our potential we could win 9 but obviously these are just projections

I follow baseball more than any other sport and I still will not post a prediction because the west is that good.

All of Mississippi St, Auburn, Arkansas, LSU, A&M, and Ole Miss can win the west this year.

I like your enthusiasm but 9 games the rest of the way seems...lofty.

A&M is sitting at 11-6-1.

I would be perfectly happy is we can go 7-5 here on out. We have Ole Miss, State, Arkansas, and Bama left.

Agree and Arkansas has a good chance to sweep. Calling an SEC road series as a sweep though is ignorant.

I think he's saying they'll win 1 out of 3- I don't think that's such a bad guess.

I'd just like to see LSU get to at least 17 or 18 SEC wins so I feel comfortable at least hosting a regional. That would require finishing with a record of 7-5 or 8-4. A sweep this weekend would be very nice. But with a sport like baseball, I'm going to hold off on making any bold predictions. I will never predict a sweep. BUT, if LSU can sweep Alabama and win 2 of their last 3 remaining series (and not get swept either ) then I will feel very good, as that gets them in the 18-19 win range in SEC play.

None of us would be surprised by getting swept at Arkansas but with our pitching taking 1 wouldn’t surprise me at all
